Creating 10,000 public health problem solvers in North Carolina
The North Carolina Center for Public Health Quality (NC CPHQ) is a public-private partnership between the North Carolina Public Health Foundation (NCPHF) and the North Carolina Division of Public Health (DPH), funded by Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of North Carolina, The Duke Endowment, and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. NC CPHQ collaborates with state and local partners to provide training in quality improvement (QI) methods and tools and develops, leads, and supports strategic QI initiatives for the Division of Public Health and local public health agencies in North Carolina.

We have expanded our mission to collaborate with local, state, and national partners to transform the US public health system to foster and support continuous quality improvement (QI) by creating the Center for Public Health Quality (CPHQ). The NC Center for Public Health Quality is a program within CPHQ focused on creating an infrastructure to foster and support continuous QI and learning among public health agencies in North Carolina.
